Based in Thoissey, France, this firm specialises in superior garden furniture made with the best weatherproof materials. Working in Paris, Frederic Sofia straddles the worlds of commercial design and fine art. As a furniture designer, he has sought to improve the quality of everyday life through products that are functional yet full of personality.

Combining a classic summery feel with a flowing, futuristic silhouette, the Sixties Garden Chair from Fermob measures 84cm in height, 51.1cm in width and 54.8cm in length. It features a light yet sturdy aluminium tube frame, coupled with a seat and backrest of synthetic mesh. A good example of the attention to quality you can expect from the brand, this mesh is made from high density technical resin, a material which is springy and supportive and resistant to temperature extremes.
