The Bibliotheque Nationale Floor Lamp has a traditional look which belies its wide range of uses. The lamp features a built-in USB charger outlet in its solid base, enabling users to charge most common smartphones or tablets. It also has three useful shelving brackets in different sizes, allowing storage of books or ornaments. This dimmable lamp is made from steel, plastic, and methacrylate, and weighs 10.3kg. The base, rod stand, and diffuser stand are fabricated from die cast zinc plated in chrome, while the shade is made from coloured and die stamped PVC. It is 150cm in height and has a diameter of 40cm. The lamp requires one E27 light bulb, to be ordered separately.
