The In Vitro Unplugged LED Lamp with Battery 3000K has been created by Philippe Starck for the brand Flos. 'In Vitro' means 'in glass' in Latin, and that's an accurate description of how this innovative lamp looks. Designed for outdoor use, In Vitro uses the transparent qualities of glass to conjure up a magical light source that will be suitable for lighting balconies, terraces and indoor lounges alike.

The In Vitro Unplugged LED Lamp with Battery 3000K has a cylindrical exterior formed from aluminium which measures 39.3cm high and has a diameter of 13.2cm. This cylinder holds a two-part glass diffuser, while a silicone handle makes it easy to move the lamp around when desired. At 1kg, the lamp is also light enough for anyone to handle.

The In Vitro Unplugged LED Lamp with Battery 3000K comes with an opalescent interior diffuser and Edge Lighting which casts an even, gentle light, while the more visible borosilicate glass layer provides protection for the light source. A dimmer is included with an optical touch sensor on the headmaking control simple, and the dimmer has 4 stages: off, 3%, 50% and 100% brightness. The lamp can be recharged via a 120cm long USB-C cable, and delivers 6 hours of charge time.
