Oblique LED Floor Lamp

The Oblique LED Floor Lamp has been created by Vincent van Duysen for the brand Flos. This lamp presents a new way to diffuse light using innovative technology that was developed by the brand. It has a minimalist, ingenious shape of two metallic discs at the top and bottom that are joined by a die-cast aluminium stem that is finished to match.

The Oblique LED Floor Lamp uses technology that combines patented lenses and LEDs that need minimal space to produce a very bright beam of light. It falls at an oblique angle from the head of the lamp to the surface that is being illuminated. This is where it gets its name, Oblique Lamp. This is a break away from traditional reading lamps that must have a pivoting head to cast light in different directions. The way light is cast by this lamp provides ideal asymmetrical light distribution at comfortable levels. These features and its shape and dimensions make it ideal for reading and other tasks while keeping the source of light invisible to the user.
