Product description

The Nile Table Lamp has been created by Rodolfo Dordoni for the brand Foscarini. This sculptural lamp combines contrasting elements in dynamic layers. It brings together the solid strength of marble which the base is made from and the delicacy of glass that the diffuser is made from. There is also a contrast between the natural mineral lines of the marble and the clear, glossy surface of the glass. The lamps come with the choice of a white base made from Carrara marble or a black base made of Marquina marble.

The Nile Table Lamp has the base and the diffuser placed at an angle. This is made possible by concealed joints and weights that hold both securely in place. A rubber washer protects the bottom of the base. When it is turned on, soft, diffused light is cast both downwards and upwards through the diffuser that has both ends open. The upper end is a bit larger than the lower one thanks to a subtle conical shape.

The Nile Table Lamp has a width of 41cm, a height of 55cm and a depth of 21cm. Its woven cable has a length of 150cm. The lamp's light intensity can be adjusted via a dimmer that is included. It works with an E27 socket.
