The Tress Grande Floor Lamp has been created by Marc Sadler for the brand Foscarini. It stands tall and elegant on the floor. At first glance, it is not immediately clear that it is a lighting fixture; it can pass for an exquisite piece of art.

The Tress Grande Floor Lamp has a cylinder-shaped shade. Strips of fibreglass and resin go around a mould and envelop it like ribbons. They are finished with an epoxy coating. The strips create an interesting play of light and shadows when the lamp is turned on thanks to the randomly sized spaces around the mould. The lamp has two LED-powered light sources. There is one at the upper end of the shade and another one inside it. The one at the top casts light upwards and the one below illuminates the floor and the area around it. The light intensity can be adjusted using a dimmer that is found on its transparent cable. The dimmer can be used to set the intensity of the light source at the top.

The Tress Grande Floor Lamp has a height of 195cm and a diameter of 25cm. Its base has a diameter of 20cm and its cable is 210cm long. It comes in neutral colours.
