Swoon Armchair

The Swoon Armchair has been created by Space Copenhagen for the brand Fredericia. Designed to make viewers 'swoon' with desire, this armchair invites sitters to sink back and relax. Soft, sculpted curves, fine materials and lush colours combine to in an exceptional chair for lounge socialising and evening reading.

The Swoon Armchair debuted in 2016 and has become one of Danish label Fredericia 's most popular creations. The shell and seat merge into one continuous form, partially resembling an open flower. Curved armrests accent the design and provide support, while subtly curved seat and back cushions lie inside the main shell and make sitting in the Swoon chair a luxurious delight.

The Swoon Armchair exterior is made from sand coloured Kvadrat Maple 222 fabric with an oak frame and four diagonally slanted oak legs to support the design. The seat is generously proportioned, measuring 90cm wide and 88.5cm deep, while the chair has a seat height of 41.5cm and a total height of 83.5cm. The chair weighs 17kg and every piece of wood used in its composition has been sourced from FSC-certified forests. Ideally suited to relaxing after work or sharing time with friends, Swoon will adorn lounges and living rooms with colour, curves, and comfort.
