The Analog Dining Table 245x105cm has been created by Spanish designer Jaime Hayón for the Danish label Fritz Hansen and is an attractive, simple and beautifully made work of contemporary design.
Hayón may be Spanish, but here he has created a table that refers back to the best traditions of Scandinavian craftsmanship. With its pure, almost completely wood-based construction, the Analog Dining Table 245x105cm could have stepped out of classic Danish catalogues from the 1960s.
However, Hayón's aim wasn't to replicate classical styles and update them with new materials. The Analog series from Fritz Hansen has been crafted with the social needs of the user in mind. Each table and chair has been designed to sit guests and family members in comfort, with plenty of table space to share meals. One of these Analog tables and a set of Fritz Hansen chairs would create the ideal setting for entertaining friends.
The table measures 245cm long by 105cm wide and stands 72cm off the ground, so there's enough room to seat people comfortably. It has been made from high-quality wood, laminated plastic and aluminium, giving the table strength, while maintaining its traditional appearance.
