Caravaggio™ P1 Suspension Lamp Matt

The Caravaggio™ P1 Suspension Lamp Matt has been created by Cecilie Manz for the brand Fritz Hansen. Named after the famous 18th century Italian artist, Caravaggio has become a masterpiece in itself. This gracefully formed pendant lamp combines attractive lines, exceptional functionality and durability that sets it apart from the crowd.

The Caravaggio™ P1 Suspension Lamp Matt has a bell-shaped shade which tapers slightly at the peak, where it is held by a discrete metal bracket. The shade is made from metal, with a variety of powder-coated finishes. Options include grey, white, warm silk and dark sienna, and the colours complement each other in Caravaggio ensembles. The shade has a broad aperture which allows a bright light to escape downwards, and the purity of the light forms a neat contrast with the earthy tones of the shade exterior.

The Caravaggio™ P1 Suspension Lamp Matt measures 21.6cm high and has a diameter of 16.5cm. It hangs from a 300cm long fabric covered cable and will be ideally suited to hanging in dining rooms or lounges. Other sizes of Caravaggio lamp are available as well, making varied arrangements a possibility. The lamp requires a single halogen bulb, and the appropriate lamp with the E27 socket can be ordered under accessories.
