Caravaggio™ P2 Suspension Lamp Glossy

The Caravaggio™ P2 Suspension Lamp Glossy has been created by Cecilie Manz for the brand Fritz Hansen. Working out of her self-named studio, the Danish industrial designer takes an experimental approach. Her quest for new production methods and materials often lead her to come up with innovative, one-of-a-kind pieces. The Caravaggio™ P2 Suspension Lamp Glossy is a good example. The lamp has a steel shade that is curved into a timeless, classic bell shape. This soft shape contrasts with the more defined lines of the suspension system that is made of steel and spun brass and finished with chrome-plating. A textile cable ties everything together. The cable is long, thereby ensuring that the downward light that the lamp casts is free of glare. An opening on top of the shade directs some soft light upwards which illuminates the suspension and the cable. A white ceiling canopy is included.

The Caravaggio™ P2 Suspension Lamp Glossy has a height of 33.7cm, a diameter of 25.8cm and a cable that is 300cm long. The white lamps come with a grey cable while the black ones have a red or black one. The appropriate bulb with the E27 socket can be ordered under accessories.
