The Doric Coffee Table 80x140cm has been created by GamFratesi for the brand Gubi. It is the designers' modernised take on the Classical era, designed to explore the functional capabilities of limestone.

In fact, the Doric Coffee Table 80x140cm is named after ancient Greek and Roman architecture. It had the hallmark of clean lines, a sleek, refined profile and a timeless look of simple elegance. This coffee table is made of travertine, a sedimentary limestone deposited by mineral springs. It is porous which makes it ideal for making items that require a non-slip surface. The table has a rectangular tabletop. The impressive slab of stone has softly rounded edges. It is supported by a base that is intricately and uniquely shaped. It has legs that have inward curves. Felt gliders underneath protect the floor and make moving the table easy. This is done by accurate chipping of the stone until the desired curve is formed. This is a contemporary take on the Doric column that was a big part of ancient architecture.

The Doric Coffee Table 80x140cm has a width of 140cm, a height of 30cm and a depth of 80cm. It comes in neutral colours that will work with any existing decor.
