The Multi-Lite Portable Table Lamp with Battery has been created by Louis Weisdorf for the brand Gubi. Initially debuted in 1972 as a table lamp, it was later redesigned to include this portable option. This and other pieces in the Multi-Lite Collection became the ‘Golden Era' round of Danish design.

The Multi-Lite Portable Table Lamp with Battery has layered quarter-sphere stainless steel shades. They are surrounded by rings around the perimeter. The different components are built to be adjustable making it possible to cast light upwards, downwards or asymmetrically. Light is cast without exposing the light source which eliminates glare. On this portable lamp, the rings are extended so that they also serve as handles. There are two disc-shaped buttons on each side of the outer ring. They house touch-sensitive sensors. Tapping on a disc will turn the light on and off. Its intensity can be adjusted by tapping on the same disc. The lamp has three settings; low, medium and bright.

The Multi-Lite Portable Table Lamp with Battery has a height of 30cm and a diameter of 15cm. Its charging cable has a length of 200cm. It is available in light and dark metallic tones. It is an eco-friendly option with parts that can be disassembled and recycled.
