The About a Chair AAC 22 2.0 Armchair Soaped Oak has been created by Hee Welling for the Danish design label HAY. Its shell is made of 100% recycled post-consumer plastic. This satisfies the criteria for classification as a Sustainable Choice product.

The About a Chair AAC 22 2.0 Armchair Soaped Oak has a shell that is a singular piece. It has no joints or fasteners which keeps its profile sleek. Its wide backrest has an upper edge that is elegantly curved. It extends downwards to form high armrests. It also curved inwards at the sides which makes the seat as deep as it is wide. The shell rests on a frame made of soaped oak. The wood has been shaped into U-shaped frames that form the front and back legs. Additional bars underneath the seat make the chair stronger and more stable. The legs are slightly angled outwards to add further strength.

The About a Chair AAC 22 2.0 Armchair Soaped Oak has a width of 59cm, a height of 79cm and a depth of 52cm. Its seat height is 46cm and its armrest height is 68cm. The chair is available in a broad selection of colours. Seat pads are available for purchase separately.
