Ruutu Vase 205x270mm

This Ruutu Bouroullec Vase 205x270mm was designed by the French brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for Finland's iittala label, and have a clarity and purity that sets them apart from most contemporary designs.

The Bouroullecs created the Ruutu collection expressly for iittala as a blown-glass range of rectangular containers. The idea was to create a collection that could be mixed and matched by interior designers, adding colourful shades of glass to complement walls and furnishings as well as the flowers that the vases are intended to hold.

It's no surprise that the Finnish label reached out to the Bouroullecs to create this range - they are well known for use of traditional crafts techniques to create extraordinary products, exactly what was intended for the Ruutu collection.

This particular Ruutu Bouroullec Vase 205x270mm measures 20.5 x 27 cm and has been formed with carefully blown glass.
