The Campari Bar Table Lamp was created by Raffaele Celentano for the Ingo Maurer label in 2002. In this case, Celentano has taken inspiration from consumer culture and pop art, integrating a set of Campari bottles into a beautiful, functional table lamp.
This table lamp is typical Celentano, who constantly seeks to innovate, creating radically stripped down lights and more whimsical designs that use familiar materials in unfamiliar ways. It also shows his sense for colour and light, something that he has carried over from his main work as an internationally acclaimed photographer.
Engineered in a completely original manner, the Campari Bar Table Lamp features 10 soda bottles, all of which can be detached as required to access the E27, 75W halogen lamp. It's a compact design, with a base diameter of just 39cm and a height of 49cm, and the height can also be adjusted via a cord which features an authentic Campari bottle cap. The base also doubles up as a space to hold glasses - the ideal place to keep your Campari cocktails as you socialise in the evening.
This table lamp is the perfect option for hosts and hostesses who want a humorous, bright and imaginative centrepiece for their dining table.
