Based in Cadoneghe near Padua , this prestigious company has been the recipient of many prizes including the Good Design and Design Plus Awards. After working for many years as an industrial engineer, Romano Marcato co-founded la palma in 1979 along with his brother Dario. He is currently in charge of the company's technical department, responsible for guiding prototype designs into production.
