Product description

The Proust Outdoor Armchair has been created by Alessandro Mendini for the brand Magis. This extravagant chair has all the trimmings for luxurious time spent outdoors. Made of rotational-moulded polyethene, it has a high wide backrest complete with elaborate embellishment in the form of arcading that is most commonly seen on antique furniture. The outer edge of the seat has the same design. The chair's legs are curved which plays up its look of opulence.

The Proust Outdoor Armchair is made using a production process known as rotational moulding. It makes it possible to manufacture an item as a single, unified piece. This eliminates the need for joints and fasteners which gives the chair a clean, uncluttered profile. It also enhances its strength and durability.

The Proust Outdoor Armchair has a width of 104cm, a height of 105cm and a depth of 90cm. It has a seat height of 39cm. It comes in black, dark blue, orange, white and multi-colour which has a dotted design. The material it is made of ensures that it can withstand the elements and can therefore be used in all types of weather.
