The company's philosophy is based on looking for a new perspective when designing and creating everyday objects for the house and office. They achieve this by working with some of the most creative and innovative designers and allow them to explore their creativity and see things in a new light, either by using unusual materials, shapes or colours.

The goal of the Base Table 140x80cm from Muuto, was to create a very simple and effective table that could be used throughout the house. The dimensions are 140 x 80 cm and a height of 75cm, making it a very versatile table, to be used in every room. The typical minimalist Scandinavian design allows it to be used with a variety of interior styles, whether in a brightly coloured children's room or a muted kitchen. The linoleum table top with ABS corners, and multi-pressed aluminum frame ensure that this table remains sturdy and provides stability for long term use. The uniform height enables the tables to be combined with one another to create a large working area.
