The Linear Steel Outdoor Bench 170cm has been created by Thomas Bentzen for the brand Muuto. Muuto is a Danish furniture and lighting brand that takes a fresh look at classic Scandinavian designs. The refined simplicity of Thomas Bentzen's work fits well the brand's philosophy. The Linear Steel Outdoor Bench 170cm is part of a range of furniture designed for outdoor use. It complements benches and tables in a variety of sizes.

Bentzen's intention was to take durable materials such as steel and represent them in new sophisticated ways. The name 'Linear' was inspired by the way shapes and materials meet in straight lines. These straight lines are then given extra interest with the addition of folded edges, spacing for water to flow freely through and the half-circles formed where the legs intersect with the tabletop. The welded steel of the frame and seat is powder-coated in a choice of four weather-resistant matte finishes. The matte finish adds to the contemporary feel of the Linear Steel Outdoor Bench 170cm. Plastic glides are attached to the legs and the bench easily wipes clean with a damp cloth. The Linear Steel Outdoor Bench 170cm is 39cm in width and 45.5cm in height.
