Stacked 2.0 Acoustic Panel M

The stylish Stacked 2.0 Acoustic Panel M was created by designer Julien De Smedt for Danish furniture manufacturer Muuto.

Julien De Smedt is an internationally acclaimed award winning architect. He won the Golden Lion award for his work, aged just 29. His designs are eclectic and colourful, whilst still maintaining a classical appearance. The stacked panel is a supplemental element to the stacked shelf system by De Smedt that are also manufactured by Muuto. The system was created after De Smedt was decorating his own home. He had a range of shelves that he had collected since childhood. Upon arranging them on the wall, the idea for the stacked system was born.

The Stacked 2.0 Acoustic Panel M is a cube panel that is 39.9cm long and 39.9cm deep. The front of the panel is covered with a noise dampening felt panel. The panel can be removed via a clever clip system. This allows the panel to be added or removed within seconds, altering both the visual appearance and acoustics of a room depending on individual requirements. The Stacked 2.0 Acoustic Panel M can be used alone, or combined with multiple units to create a stylish storage area.
