Shade Pouf

The Shade Pouf has been created by Begüm Cana Özgür and Marcos Catalán for the brand Nanimarquina. Founded by Nani Marquina, the brand is a second-generation art and industrial design company that is dedicated to creativity, innovation and sustainability. The brand partners with artisans from all over the world to create a catalogue of authentic pieces that represent the diverse cultures of the world through craftsmanship. The Shade Pouf,for instance, represents Özgür's Turkish heritage and Catalán's Spanish heritage.

The cylindrical pouf is inspired by rugs that have colours made up of an intricate gradient. It has a core made of birch chipboard and a base of birch plywood. It is padded with PU foam and upholstered with fabric that is made of 100 percent New Zealand wool. This wool is biodegradable, hypoallergenic and durable. It also has a warm, cozy look. It is used on the pouf in a mix of colours that are either monochromatic or contrasting. Whatever the colour combination, the finished look is a warm, inviting one that sends out a silent invitation to rest your feet on it or sit down and sink into its softness. The Shade Pouf has a width of 39cm, a height of 40cm and a depth of 39cm. It has a seat height of 40cm.
