The Material The Originals Wall Lamp Cork has been created by Christian Nørgaard and Martin Kechayas for the brand New Works. Material is a collection of stylish interior lamps which focus on one specific material. In this case, the designers have chosen to highlight the texture and delicacy of cork, creating a beautiful wall lamp that will add a unique touch to hallways, living rooms and bedrooms alike.

The Material The Originals Wall Lamp Cork is built around the cork diffuser, which is actually shaped like a wine cork. This diffuser has an aluminium white inner layer, which ensures that light is reflected outwards, creating a neat contrast between the bright beam and the orange tone of the cork exterior. It connects to a wall base via a hinged bracket, and both the pivot and the base are made from black powder coated aluminium.

Relatively compact, the Material The Originals Wall Lamp Cork measures 13cm wide, 18cm deep and 23cm high. It connects with mains electricity sockets via a 250cm long PVC cable, and weighs just 2kg. There is a switch on the base. The appropriate bulb with an E14 socket can be ordered under accessories.
