Form Bar Stool Brass Base 65cm

The Form Bar Stool Brass Base 65cm has been created by Simon Legald for the label Normann Copenhagen. Danish designer Legald pays homage to his Nordic roots in each design but he also pushes the envelope and keeps things modern with new shapes, materials and methods. He did this admirably with the Form Bar Stool Brass Base 65cm and it earned him a Special Mention in the 2016 German Design Award and a win in the 2016 German IF Product Design Award. It has the hallmark clean, sleek Scandinavian profile but these have been re-arranged into a contemporary stool. The low backrest and seat are one piece made of hard wearing polypropylene, which keeps the lines clean. The two are joined using a unique cup system. The seat rests on a frame made of tubular steel that is finished with a plating of bright, eye-catching brass. It has foot rests at the back, front and sides.
