The String System Folding Table was created to accompany the innovative shelving and storage system from Scandinavian design label String.

When it comes to the world of interior design, Sweden has long been an authority on the subject. String has been leading the pack when it comes to functional office furniture and storage for decades, having launched in the early 1950s. The award-winning manufacturer is responsible for some of the most iconic pieces of office furniture around, with several designs on permanent display at the Swedish National Museum. The String Folding Table is yet another design to get excited about, combining flexible functionality and an impressive finish.

The String Folding Table can be easily attached to its parent shelving system, providing you with a handy surface area to study, work or dine. Measuring 78 x 96 cm, there's plenty of space to enjoy a light brunch or lunch for two, while a hard-wearing solid wood tabletop keeps wear and tear to a minimum. The perfect choice for smaller spaces, this collapsible table can be folded away when not in use, discreetly disappearing into the main shelving unit.
