Bell Table Lamp

This striking Bell Table Lamp was created by Tom Dixon for his British design firm Tom Dixon.

Dixon founded his company in London in 2002 to create modern furniture and lighting inspired by British industry. Born in Tunisia, the designer first worked as a performer before discovering his unique design talents and soon became known as the UK's "style prodigy". After developing a succession of iconic designs for leading Italian design companies such as Cappellini and Moroso, he formed his own eponymous company, which now has an international presence.

The Bell Table Lamp takes the form of a bell-shaped shade fitted onto a weighted base that features an integrated dimmer. It's crafted from plated pressed steel with a brass, bright copper or mirror chrome finish which is highly polished to reflect its surroundings. Measuring 44cm in height and with a diameter of 28cm, the Bell Table Lamp can be adjusted, emitting anything from a warm ambient light for relaxing atmospheres to a focused task light for reading or working. This combination of style and flexibility renders it ideal for use in living rooms, studies, kitchens and bedrooms, especially those of contemporary décor.
