Betty TK2 Chair

The Betty TK2 Chair was designed by Jakob Thau and Sami Kallio for the brand &Tradition.

The Danish label &Tradition has been nurturing new talent in the field of furniture design for nearly a century. Today, it also reworks classic pieces from its furniture archives. Jakob Thau and Sami Kallio have always shared a fascination for natural materials and Traditional methods of furniture making. They combine these interests to create contemporary Nordic furniture with a timeless appeal. Sami Kallio is a recipient of the Miaw Muuuz International Award.

Typical of the work of Thau and Kallio, the Betty TK2 Chair is a new piece with a retro soul. Inspired by and named after the Betty Nansen Theatre in Copenhagen, this stackable yet comfortable chair has elegant lines that work just as well in domestic dining rooms as they do in open public spaces. With its lightweight design and simple lines, the chair also adapts to use in the kitchen or home office. The Betty TK2 Chair features a solid wooden seat in a choice of finishes that complements the Betty TK1 Chair with its webbed seat. Its dimensions are 51 x 77 x 48 with a seat height of 46cm.
