P376 KF2 Suspension Lamp

The P376 KF2 Suspension Lamp was designed by Jørgen Kastholm and Preben Juhl Fabricius for the brand &Tradition.

Fabricius and Kastholm formed one of the most important duos in Danish design history, creating products of global importance. Over time, they also accumulated numerous awards such as the 1968 Ilum Prize and the German Gute Form Prize for the Tulip Chair. But as the P376 KF2 Suspension Lamp shows, they were just as skilled in lighting design.

Now marketed by &Tradition , the P376 KF2 Suspension Lamp debuted in 1963 and has lost none of its ability to amaze and delight. This luminaire instantly makes an impression with the five concentric circles that constitute its diffuser. Made from matt-painted aluminium, these discs measure 70cm at their widest point and form a 28cm high stack. They have been cleverly arranged to reflect and alter the light produced by a single E27 bulb, casting a gentle glow across wide spaces, and avoiding excess glare. The P376 KF2 Suspension Lamp is suspended via an adaptable 600cm cable, and has a unified, harmonious appearance which will enhance kitchens, dining rooms or living spaces, even when the light is turned off.
