Series 430 Stool

The Series 430 Stool has been created by Verner Panton for the brand Verpan. Characterised by complete simplicity and a commitment to comfort, the 430 series spans tables, chairs and stool designs like this elegantly designed piece. Suitable for placement around the home, the 430 Stool is soft, fresh, and will always be enjoyable to use.

Panton's Series 430 Stool has a round seat design which has been upholstered in roughly textured and inviting orange or yellow Harald fabrics. Underneath the fabric exterior, Panton has added a foam cushion which incorporates elasticated webbing. This webbing adjusts to every sitter, making it easy to find a comfortable position for long periods. And the foam itself is firm but forgiving, offering an inviting blend of softness and support.

The cushion of the Series 430 Stool is supported by an ultra-slim frame made from black-painted stainless steel. As with other entries in the 430 Series, the legs attach to the side of the cushion and don't intrude onto the sitting area. The stool has a total height of 47cm and a seat diameter of 46cm - and with a weight of just 4kg it will always be easy to move around whenever needed.
