The Africa Armchair Set of 4 was created by Eugeni Quitllet for the Spanish design label Vondom.

Merging glamour with functionality to create pieces that sit comfortably in their environment epitomises the Vondom philosophy. Catalan-born designer Eugeni Quitllet graduated in art before turning to furniture design. His skill is in seeing and cleverly teasing out skeletal outlines from his raw materials. Quitllet recently achieved the prestigious Maison&Objet Designer of the Year Award.

The Africa Armchair 4 Piece Set is a lively and contemporary design by Quitllet that reflects the skeletal nature of his work. The flowing curve to the one-piece back and arms is both attractive and comfortable while the slight splay to the slender legs adds stability and design balance. The chairs are crafted from a high-quality mix of air moulded polypropylene and fibreglass. With the dimensions of 58 x 83 x 62 cm and a seat height of 45cm, the Africa Armchair 4 Piece Set is perfect for entertaining friends at home but looks just as good in offices and public spaces. The set can be stacked and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, giving it extra versatility.
