Mexique Console Table

The charming and unique Mexique Console Table was designed for the innovative manufacturer, Cassina by the internationally renowned Parisian designer, Charlotte Perriand. After graduating from the School of the Central Union of Decorative Arts in 1925, the fresh young designer came to the attention of Le Corbusier and began working as a furniture designer. In 1940, Perriand was forced into Vietnamese exile after a trip to Japan due to the war. During her time in exile, she studied woodwork and was heavily influenced by eastern design. After the war, Perriand was commissioned to work on some notable projects, including the League of Nations, Geneva and Meribel ski resort.

The eye-catching Mexique Console Table is available in a range of finishes and colours that will beautifully complement most interiors.
