The Demi Volée LED Desk Lamp was created by Odo Fioravanti for the label Fontana Arte.

Fontana Arte has been creating a revolution in the world of lighting since 1931 with designs that reflect Italian culture and style. Odo Fioravanti works in industrial design and graphics. His pieces are widely exhibited and he is the holder of the prestigious Compasso d'Oro Prize.

The Demi Volée LED Desk Lamp is refined in looks and effective in function, fitting harmoniously into contemporary homes or offices. Its slim silhouette, measuring 63cm high and 11cm wide, is part of its aesthetic appeal while its modern functions are ground-breaking. A simple movement of the hand under the lamp's head turns it on and off and a touch sensor gives four levels of brightness. An energy-efficient time-out system automatically switches the lamp off after five hours while a USB port in the light's base charges mobile devices. The head and columns of the Demi Volée LED Desk Lamp are made from extruded aluminium while the joints are die-cast aluminium. Steel wires provide a hidden spring tension that allows perfect, effortless adjustment of the head.
