Gräshoppa Suspension Lamp

The Gräshoppa Suspension Lamp has been created by Greta Magnusson Grossman for the brand Gubi. Grossman was a Swedish architect and industrial designer. She became a designer to the celebrities in the US where she eventually settled. She is most famous for her Gräshoppa Collection of lamps that includes the Gräshoppa Suspension Lamp. Originally designed in 1947, the lamp has the collection's signature powder-coated steel shade with its elegant, ellipse shape. At the top of the shade is a brass tube that connects with a fabric cord that goes into the ceiling canopy.

The Gräshoppa Suspension Lamp has a height of 39.5cm, a diameter of 15cm and a canopy that has a diameter of 8cm. Its cable is 250cm long. The appropriate bulb with the E14 socket can be ordered as required. Still as elegant as it was when it was first designed decades ago, this classic lamp adds timeless style wherever it is placed. It looks lovely over a kitchen counter or table or a dining table. A cluster of them looks even better.
